Navigatr Welcomes Felicity Clark as Chief Operating Officer
Building an AI consulting company that delivers for enterprise clients takes more than sharp technology. It takes someone who knows how to run the engine.
There's a moment in every growing company where the ambition outpaces the infrastructure. The client pipeline is building, the projects are getting more complex, the team is expanding, and you realise that the thing you need most isn't another technologist. It's someone who can make the whole machine work (our people, and our AI agents that amplify them).
That's why Felicity Clark is now leading operations at Navigatr as our Chief Operating Officer.
The right background at the right time
Felicity brings over 20 years of experience across customer experience, operations, strategy, marketing, and sales leadership. Her career reads like a tour of Australia's most operationally demanding industries: energy, financial services, and utilities, sectors where getting delivery wrong isn't just embarrassing, it's regulated.
She's held senior leadership roles at IMB Bank (Head of Customer Experience and Strategy), SmartestEnergy (Head of Operations), and spent four years at Alinta Energy across customer experience and channel development. Before that, she led acquisition and retention marketing at Endeavour Energy, managing a $21 million operating budget and a team of 15 delivering against residential targets. She started her career at Accenture in London and Sydney, and cut her teeth in research and strategy at AGL.
That's not a CV you manufacture. It's built by showing up in complex environments and making things work.
Why operations is the real AI story
There's a narrative in the AI services space that the only thing that matters is technical capability. Build the model, ship the integration, move on. But anyone who's delivered AI projects into real enterprises knows the truth: the hard part isn't the technology. It's the delivery.
It's scoping the engagement properly. It's making sure the training lands with frontline staff, not just the executive sponsor. It's managing the handover from consulting into BAU. It's knowing when a custom solution needs a phased rollout instead of a big bang.
That's operational thinking. And it's the difference between an AI project that gets applauded in a board presentation and one that actually changes how an organisation works.
Felicity's career has been built on exactly this: taking complex, multi-stakeholder environments and bringing rigour, structure, and a genuine customer-first lens to how things get done. At Navigatr, she's applying that same thinking to our consulting delivery, training programmes, and custom solutions.
Already making it count
Felicity has already been shaping Navigatr's operational direction behind the scenes. She's currently building out our go-to-market strategy in two sectors where her background gives us a genuine edge (more details to come, it's hush hush).
These aren't speculative bets. They're sectors where Navigatr's AI advisory and solutions capability meets real, unmet demand, and where Felicity's operational experience means we can deliver with credibility.
A hire that signals where we're headed
Every hire tells a story about where a company is going. Bringing on a COO with Felicity's background says something specific about Navigatr: we're not just building an AI practice. We're building a business that can deliver at scale, across sectors, with the operational maturity that enterprise and government clients expect.
Felicity is a strong customer advocate, someone who has consistently put the customer at the centre of every business decision across her career. That mindset runs through everything she's doing at Navigatr, from how we structure engagements to how we measure success.
If you're a Navigatr client, you'll notice the difference. If you're considering working with us, you should know that the person running the operation has spent two decades doing exactly this, in industries where the stakes are high and the bar is even higher.
Welcome to the team, Felicity.
